About Me
My name is Kerby Diaz, better known as KERU, and I am a Heavy Bass Music artist currently working my way to the top of the Los Angeles EDM scene as both a producer and DJ. My sound is known for its Hyper Sharp Basses and Cutting Edge drums.
I have had a well rounded journey through music, starting my interest at the age of 4 when I was introduced to the accordion. Four years later I took an interest in clarinet which gave me opportunities such as touring with top Wind Ensembles and Orchestras. Throughout this journey, I obtained a Bachelor's in Arts in Music Industry Studies and continued my involvement in ensembles after graduation. I currently tour with a Banda as a clarinetist along with my pursuit in the EDM scene.
Before I graduated with my Bachelor's in Arts, I debut my EP "BUSTED" as my senior project as both my degree requirement and too kickoff my rebrand as KERU. The BUSTED EP was a great start to my professional portfolio and allowed me to gain attention from the LA EDM community.
